we could try
tearing down walls,
to build houses with
the bricks,
we could stop yelling
and try listening,
we might offer encouragement
and not justice,
but we are too busy
asking the same question
over and over, hoping
we are given something
grand to do, rather
than caring for the forgotten
where you are to be found
