“While
I kept silence, my body
wasted away
through my groaning all day
long.”
Psalm 32:3
on
this day,
we
join our voices
in
glad hosannas
of
welcome and praise
(hoping
to drown out
your
cries for justice),
even
as
our bodies groan
from
the weight
of
the nails
we
carry in our
hearts
