June 27th

Praise the LORD!
   I will give thanks to the
   LORD with my whole heart,
in the company of the 
   upright, in the congregation. Psalm 111:1

running
with the little kids
chasing fireflies in
summer's meadows;
sitting
with the seniors
monitoring their
bingo cards like hawks;
packing
sack lunches for
the volunteers
building affordable homes;
spraying
teenagers at the carwash
to raise funds for
an immigrant family's
move:
i praise you, with
all the young and old hearts,
the whole and broken hearts,
the wondering and wandering
hearts.
