may we live in peace
with those who annoy us
as well as those who
encourage us.
may we speak in peace
to those whose words
drip with anger and those
who are afraid to speak.
may we walk in peace
on pilgrimages to reconcile
our broken neighborhoods
and the shattered places
of our own lives.
ma we go in peace
wherever you would
send us, even into the
most uncomfortable places
we dare imagine.
