Trinity Sunday

“We could say more but could never say enough;

tempted to keep

saying more, let

your silence be all

the language we need;

tempted to offer

lectures, let

the soft breath

of our loved ones

be all the whispers

of grace we need;

tempted to turn

to the powerful, the

celebrities, the tartuffians

to set the world straight,

let your weakness

be all the strength we need.
