“Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear.”  Ephesians 4:29

how easily we

use you, Lord,

to justify

   words dripping with bitterness,

   bile-filled anger,

   judgments of others,

since this is obviously

what folk need most

these days, as

you put your head

in your grace-filled hands

and weep.
