“The Lord GOD has given me

   the tongue of a teacher,

that I may know how to sustain

   the weary with a word.”  Isaiah 50:4a

sometimes,

all it takes is

a ‘hello’

   to make an

   outsider welcome;

a ‘here, let me help’

   to lift a neighbor

   to their feet;

an ‘i like you’

   to affirm a

   lonely child;

a ‘why don’t you join us?’

   to feed the hungry

   with more than a meal.
