silence?

“for if you are silent to me,
    I shall be like those who go down to the Pit.” Psalm 28:1b

not silence,

but whispers of

wonder in the

fireflies of summer;

not silence,

but the gravelly

voice of grace

in the bullfrogs

down at the pond;

not silence,

but songs of joy

outside our windows

each morning;

not silence,

but you
