yes, we look for

signs falling from the sky,

wonders knocking us off our feet,

wisdom that will confound scholars,

and completely miss

your common sense ideas

that little kids can crawl into your lap,

that the outcasts are worth listening to,

and every single person

has a place at your table,

as well as a bed in your home
