we find it so easy
to hold grudges
against
those we have never
met
simply
because of how
they look,
what comes out of
their mouths,
their political
beliefs, so
remind us that
even
in the final days,
up
to that very last
breath,
you continued to
love those
closest to you,
the very best of
friends
who denied you,
turned their backs
on you,
betrayed you
forgot you
