“Above all, maintain constant love for one
another,” 1 Peter 4:8a
whether it’s the rough sleepers
who look after each other in the park
or the most popular kid in the class
sitting alone at home on Saturday night,
whether it’s the older couple separated
from one another by a strange illness
or the newlyweds learning to navigate
this strange journey called marriage,
whether it’s the most cynical cad
or the lifelong romantic searching,
everyone is looking for the same thing:
love
constant
creative
compassionate
love
