"For the insolent have risen against me,

   the ruthless seek my life;

   they do not set God before them." Psalm 54:3

we are beleaguered,

so we know we are your Body.

we are seeking justice,

so we are living as your Body.

we are longing for hope,

so we are believing as your Body.

we are praying for grace,

so we are offering your Body.

we are broken,

and so we taste your Body.

O God,

let us be your Body
