“Or do you despise the riches of his kindness and
forbearance and patience? Do you not realize that God’s kindness is meant to
lead you to repentance?” Romans 2:4
when everyone else
wants us to pass a test,
memorize a bazillion
verses,
tear our clothes
and rend our souls,
you simply put
your shawl of kindness
around our shoulders,
take us by the hand,
and together
we walk home.
