all the courses,
read the books,
aced the exams,
but
do i see you
in the little girl
hugging the kitten,
in the paper-thin
hands
cradling their
loved
one in hospice,
in the forgotten
who
simply asking that
someone
anyone
notice them as
being made in your
image
just like us
