January 15th

"The wicked see it and are angry; 

    they gnash their teeth and melt away;
the desire of the wicked comes to nothing."  Psalm 112:10

when

the greedy seem to hoard

all the money,  

let us continue to

share what we have

with the vulnerable.

when the narcissists

want us to idolize them,

let us keep plugging away

at elevating the forgotten.

when

the wicked appear

to hold all the cards,

may we call their bluff

and lay down our hand

with the royal flush of

grace, hope, justice, 

peace, and acceptance.
