“What then are we to say about these things?”
Romans 8:31a
simply this:
God
has not forsaken us
has not forgotten us
has not walked away from us.
God
has a tight grip on us
has wrapped us in love
pours grace into our souls
for
neither foolish politicians
nor those who make bad choices,
neither a virus we cannot see
nor the angry we can hear,
neither what yesterday, today,
nor tomorrow bring, nothing
absolutely not a thing (!)
will ever, will ever, will ever
separate us from the love of
God
