they may have the podium
with all the microphones,
but we will still
speak of justice.
they may seduce folk
with bitter words,
but we will still
embrace everyone.
they may be certain
that they will always
be powerful,
but we will still
serve in weakness.
they may be convinced
we are outnumbered
but we will still
be sharers of grace
