sometimes,

rather than storing the

seeds in the basement

for better days (and they

begin they begin to sprout

and then decay in the damp

shadows),

we should plant hope,

grace, love, peace

in everyone we meet

until they all bloom

into marvelous bouquets

of God’s choosing
