as we set up

the chairs, as

usher the guests,

as we hand out

the little bags of bird seed,

as we reassure him

(once again, for the 100^th time)

that we haven’t misplaced

the wedding ring, may we

continue to rejoice

in the privilege of being

the groom’s friend
