you know,

that on this day

there are those who

cannot wait for the weekend

to begin with all its fun,

travels, gatherings, chances

to insta share everything

and

for others,

it is just that long break

of loneliness, thumbing through

old memories and photo albums,

of sitting across from an empty chair,

before Monday with all its

disappointed expectations

shows up once again.

because you know us

and knowing us

continue to be with us

however we face this

day
