Holy Thursday

"So the disciples set out and went to the city, and found everything as he had told them; and they prepared the Passover meal." Mark 14:16

flat worn out

after flipping tables

for a purpose everyone

down the years will misinterpret,

after cursing a fig tree

which just got in the way

as you looked at your friends'

casual approach to faith,

after hitting hump day 

where you just want 

to take off that flinty face

and be your old self,

and now, the gang is

getting ready for the 

annual feast where, once

again, you will try to point

them into a new way of

seeing what God is doing

(and giving odds that 

you won't succeed),

it is no wonder that you are

flat worn out.
