Second Sunday in Lent

"Then the LORD put out his hand and touched my mouth; and the LORD said to me,
'Now I have put my words
in your mouth. . . '" Jeremiah 1:9

they
can become the
punctum
of animosity,
or the healing balm
for the sores
on another's
soul;
they
can be the
bricks
in a wall which
separates us,
or the bridge
over the canyon
of our prejudices;
they
can burn the
dreams
of our friends
to ashes,
or rekindle the
dying embers
of their hope;
so
give us the
words from your
Heart which others
long to hear
in these times.
