Christmas Eve

“Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord,

    at the presence of the God of Jacob,”  Psalm 114:7

truth be told, we

like sitting in front

of our screens, watching

that holiday classic for

the nth time, because

if we answer the knock

at the door, we just

might find shepherds,

trembling as they try

to tell us of the grace

they have found

in the least expected

person

in the most unlikely

place
