we scrape our
lives
running down
the
sidewalks of foolishness,
or
stub our hearts
as
we try to find
our
way back to you
through
the shadows
of
our fears, Spirit
kneels
down and daubs
our
wounds with grace,
and
whispers hope into
our
tear-stained souls
