telling

“Come and hear, all you who fear

         God,

   and I will tell what he has

         done for me.” Psalm 66:16

we could sing

of your love which

sustains us, tell

how your grace

is like a shawl

when we shiver in grief,

and whisper of your

wonders dancing across

our lawns, but

words just don’t seem

to spring forth from us
