so who, exactly,

are the people

we are willing to believe?

influencers on social media

or those who transform

the lives of kids living

on the streets,

politicians who sell 

their souls to the highest

bidders, or the person

gathering up the rough

sleepers to give them shelter,

late night commentators

who mock anyone and

everyone (all in 'good fun')

or the kids who stand up

to the bullies of their 

nonbinary friends?
