'"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it.'" Matthew 7:13

we take that simple path

of discipleship worn smooth

by your footprints of faith

and keep adding lanes

to it, so we can go as fast

as we can chasing our way,

eager to reach those ramps

which will take us off 

to the stores selling narcissism,

to the fast fool chain restaurants,

and the petty stations where 

we can refuel our bitterness,

before ending up at those

roundabouts which have

no exits and we end up

nowhere.
