stuck in the same

rut, show us a new path;

gripped by an obsession

with the good ol’ days,

open our eyes to new wonders;

our prejudices etched on our brains,

erase them with a gentle touch,

so we may discover your hope

for us, brought by those

we have been taught

to fear

to distrust

to hate
