hopeful

"Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you;" 1 Peter 3:15b

instead of tossing 

it in the attic with the

rest of the stuff we don't

know if we should keep,

let us plant hope like

a beacon in our front yards.

instead of putting it

with the heirlooms in

the safe deposit box

to pass them on to

our kids and grandkids

at some point in the future,

let us offer hope to them now,

so they can grow old together.
