Second Thursday of Advent

"I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, 

    so I shall be saved from my enemies." Psalm 18:3

as we call,

may we hear

the cried of all

whose voices are ignored.

as we praise,

may we see you

working for peace

and justice, and rush

to be your co-workers.

as we receive

your gifts and blessings,

may we see no one

as our enemy but as

another child of God,

for surely

that is how you 

see us.
