Second Tuesday of Advent

"When the cares of my heart
    are many,

your consolations cheer

may we be 

the carol which

sings to the hearts

of the weary,

the quiet respite

surrounding the frazzled

parents around us,

the healing balm

for all whose souls

are frayed by worry,

the lap little children

with all their fears

will find to be more

comforting than they

ever imagined.
