"Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly; do not claim to be wiser than you are." Romans 12:16

you make it as simple 

as you can, but we just

cannot help ourselves

and so, choose

to focus on our differences,

look down our noses

in pious pretense and 

offer snark to so many,

try to rub shoulders 

with the powerful and

obsess over celebrities, 

and proudly highlight our

academic credentials 

every chance we get.
