Second Friday in Lent

"So let no one boast about human leaders. For all things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future--all belong to you, and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God." 1 Corinthians 3:21-23

oh, how we love 

the parade of

the spellbinders and stemwinders,

the celebs and the debs,

the high flyers and lowdown liars,

following behind them

with our shovels in hand

thinking that is all we 

are skilled at doing.

but grace is ours

and that is more than enough,

hope is ours and it

exceeds all expectations,

love is ours and it whispers

of how God's heart has

room for all of us

and we know

we are right where we 

belong
